I love to keep fresh flowers in my kitchen window.

When I’m standing at the sink – cooking, doing dishes, cleaning up – it’s wonderful to look up and see God’s beauty right before me.

I like to keep a candle or some kind of flowers in my kitchen window to keep it cheery. 

Except when allergy season hits, flowers like these …

… have to go on our back patio to be enjoyed (one husband + one son = bad allergies!)

Even if you don’t have flowers growing in your yard, have you thought about asking a neighbor or a friend, who has an abundance, if you could cut a few? 

It would be a great way to meet your neighbors, or a way where you could be neighborly in return!

And a great way to be a friend!
