Most of you know our kitchen is under construction!
Yes, we’ve now moved 100% of our kitchen into the garage.
In the process, we took out the original double, stainless steel sink from 1978.
I always said I’d get another deep, single-bowl sink, so for now, my new sink is my laundry tub set up in the garage!
We added a cool IKEA basket to separate out the silverware (easy for the kids) since we don’t have a dishwasher. (I love IKEA!)
It’s not glamorous, but I’ve never heard of a glamorous kitchen remodel. Have you?
In our previous home, we had the most wonderful ceramic, single-DEEP sink. It was my favorite as I bathed our babies, did a lot of canning, and it held large pots and pans!
What kind of sink do you have, and if you could get a new one, what would it be?
Single, double, farm-style, stainless, ceramic … or one and 1/2 bowls?
Maybe you’ll sway me from my original idea!

Hi, I'm Sandy. Five years ago I stocked up on beautiful glasses from the Dollar Store. As I started writing about dinner parties, I realized that this “icon” portrays a great message.
