2 Important Things …

Two important things to remember, when practicing hospitality.
If you specialize in making something, like these cinnamon rolls …

1. Make double

2. Take a pan to a neighbor or to a friend or to someone in need
That is what my friend Pam does.
She thinks of our family.
And we reap the benefits of her baking!  Delicious!
What do you like to share with others?

I share pumpkin bread. I've found a very easy and delicious recipe that makes three loaves. So, one to keep and two to give!

Yum! I am way too lazy and impatient to make homemade cinnamon rolls. Haha.

I share my baking (cupcakes, cookies) and my creativity (with cards that I make).

Banana bread or pumpkin bread, whichever is taking over my freezer. We like to give them to neighbors, friends and pastors during the holidays.

    What a lovely thought!

It's that time of year for soups, and I know an older lady that got out of the hospital today…going to make double…and share some with her.

Thanks! Oh…and I am drooling on my keyboard about now…love cinnamon rolls.

Yummy rolls! I share cookies-or right now the last of our garden produce. It's so easy to make double and share!

Amen!! Share away. I don't do it enough… but as Scripture says it's always "more blessed to give then to receive", yet I will NEVER turn away something homemade and tasty… especially cinnamon rolls.

    Aren't neighbors wonderful?

  13. Sandy aka Doris the Great says:

When I was a SAHM, I used to do this a lot. Now-a-days, I only share at Christmas when I bake buttermilk rolls, stollen, fruitcake (and yes, there are still people who love it), cookies and homemade chocolates. I wish I could do this more but alas, I must work!

Soup and bread….it's always easy to make a bit extra of both, and the elderly neighbors really appreciate it.

I'm known for my cookies! I always triple the batch….eat some, freeze some…and deliver some to some unexpecting person! :)

Any kind of baking really. I never like to go to anyone's house empty handed, it gives me an excuse to bake and it means its not here in my house to pig out on!!

What a great idea! I live in Australia, and American and Canadian friends tell me we Aussies are not great on neighbourliness, and I think they're right. This sounds like a great way to get the ball rolling with my current neighbours!
