I absolutely love cupcakes! I always remember having them at birthday parties in elementary school. Now, I enjoy them even more, because they’re the perfect size dessert and I don’t feel bad about eating just one. I’m 43 now, and never deny myself the joy of the perfect cupcake!

My favorite memory having to do with cupcakes was about a month ago I made SpongeBob cupcakes for a friend. I took them to school to eat at lunch. We ended up not eating any “real” food and we relived our younger days by coloring. We ended up sharing them with a lot of other students. I have to say it has been the funnest day of school that I can remember.

I love making cupcakes for my kid’s first birthdays. Then they can just “explore” their little cake without ruining a giant one. And everyone else can just eat their own cupcake without the little fingers on it!

What more fun than sitting with my granddaughters (I have 9 of them) at Lilly’s birthday party and eating cute little cupcakes that her mom made! Tea party time, here we come! There is NOTHING like a grand daughter, not even those adorable cupcakes!

I have to agree with Kristi…watching my little ones poke, squish, devour a cupcake on their first birthday is by far the best cupcake memories I have. I love to see their eyes light up when they get their first lick of frosting!

My best cupcake memory is actually a new one…a few weeks ago watching our 5th child, our baby girl, turn 1. We had a “Buttons & Bows” party. She is bald, so I always have a bow on her head . She had on a shirt and skirt with buttons on them and a ginormous bow with buttons on it as well on her head! I decorated a cake and cupcakes with neco wafers to make them look like buttons and made a bow out of icing. The memory we will always have was watching our sweet, dainty little baby DEVOUR a cupcake!! I gave it to her, and let’s just say, she was one with the chocolate buttercream icing!! It was precious! Out of all of our children, I think she set the record for the amount eaten and the speed at which she ate . Thanks for the fun giveaway!

Mmm cupcakes, just the word makes me hungry for some! I love making cupcakes with my three children for their birthdays! Decorating them is our favorite part, ok that and eating them! In fact my daughter has a birthday next week so we will be making cupcakes for her birthday!!! Yummy!!!

I love cupcakes! My children love to help make them and it’s such a joy to be able to share in making those memories with them. When my daughter was a very little girl, we would make mini-cupcakes and freeze them. She looked forward to taking out 2-3 mini-cupcakes out of the freezer to defrost for afternoon snacks. It was a nice way to spend our afternoon – snacking on cupcakes and drinking milk.

Ohh….cupcakes! How we love them! My oldest daughters birthday is Feb. 2, yes Groundhogs Day! We always make ‘groundhog’ cupcakes for her to take to share with her friends. We have done this since she was 2 yrs old. I have hopefully given her some fun memories that she will keep forever!

How cute is that?! My mom was a working mother, so she was unable to attend class parties, help out in the class room, or be active in the PTA. I never felt slighted though. Because for every holiday party we had at school…or for my birthday…she was the cupcake mom.

I was always so proud when she’d show up before she went to work carrying the cupcakes. The class would always “ooh” and “aaah”.

Awww thanks for being the catalyst for that memory.

This is so cute! I can remember baking cupcakes with my grandma when I was little–we would both be covered in frosting and batter by the time we were done, and it was always great fun!!!

I love cupcakes – especially the ones with buttercream frosting. My favorite memory is taking cupcakes to school for my son the first year I was a stay at home mom. To see how proud my son was that his mom had brought a treat was so rewarding.

My favorite cupcake memory would have to be the making on my daughter’s birthday cake when she was turning 4. She wanted a mermaid cake. So we used regular cake cut in various ways to make the face, body, and tail and then used cupcakes for her hair. I’ll never forget how excited she was when the whole cake was put together. The cupcakes were the most popular part of the cake with the kids!

This necklace is scrumptious!! One of my favorite cupcake memories is of my sister visiting me and us going to this fabulous boutique cupcake place and getting yummy cupcakes together! Such great memories!!
