I *heart* cake plates! I can never pass up an opportunity to snatch one up at a good price. They have oh so many uses! I currently have eight – they are all pretty plain and nothing as fancy as the gems found at the Painted Pig! I have one ceramic cake stand that I picked up from a thrift store for $3.00. It was pretty tacky looking and had a funky black and orange design on it. One can of teal spray paint later and its pretty stinking awesome I must say
