I have a cake plate addiction….I have at least 4 that are white, 3 that are crystal, 1 wood, 4 metal, and 2 cream colored…..yes, it is definitely an addiction.

I have one ceramic cake stand that I picked up from a thrift store for $3.00. It was pretty tacky looking and had a funky black and orange design on it. One can of teal spray paint later and its pretty stinking awesome I must say

I *heart* cake plates! I can never pass up an opportunity to snatch one up at a good price. They have oh so many uses! I currently have eight – they are all pretty plain and nothing as fancy as the gems found at the Painted Pig! The black cake stand is tdf! and the glasses adorable! ~clicking on the follow button now =) great blog!

I only have one cake stand…I don’t use it that often. Maybe because it’s plain clear glass. I might need one of those neat scroll-y ones to inspire me properly. Now those glasses???!! They truly inspire me!
