I bought some pansies last week and had them still sitting in their packs on my kitchen table. I never realized that they have a scent…it was nice. I love their happy little faces and pansies are a great way to welcome spring. They are now planted in my pot on the front porch and near the dinning room window on my covered deck so I just look out to see them.

What a fun meme! Oh, if only I could smell those cherry blossoms…I just know they’d be lovely! We have orange blossoms here and the scent is so sweet and lovely…wish I could find some to put in my home!

Your pictures made me excited all over again to have the cherry trees in bloom down at the Botanical Gardens- they overlook the river and an cathedral- just beautiful and the smell is so sweet! As soon as I get some buds around here in Minnesota…I will be forcing some branches of blooms myself!! When I lived in Maryland, where Kristin lives now I would use big branches of yellow forsythias. I love decorating~in or out!!
