First, thanks to Darcy at m3b for pointing me this-a-way.

Second, I was sooo excited to get to host Easter for the first time this year! It seems we’ve always been going to either my parents or my in-laws every year, which has been lovely, but I was thrilled to get the chance to do something myself.

Instead of the traditional Easter dinner or ham or lamb, we did Easter brunch (which I’ve never actually eaten anywhere other than a fancy restaurant or hotel!). I wish I had more pics of the table/meal, but I served hot cross buns as a “starter,” while people arrived and mingled (along with coffee/mimosas/o.j.). Then for the sit-down meal, we had three different kinds of individual quiches (made in muffin tins — they were adorable!), and crepes with fresh fruit. I had been growing wheatgrass in various bowls and eggshells and whatever I could find, so that served as our decor. It was so fun, and I do hope I get to host again next year!
