Life is Simple as a P & J!
Sometimes hospitality is as simple as peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Sometimes that may be all you have in your cupboards!
Or sometimes it may be the only thing that your “little people” will eat.
I love days where life is as simple as a P&J.
Running around.
Enjoying the sunshine.
Helping in the garden.
Two brothers just wanting to have some fun.
I’m thankful that hospitality doesn’t have to be complicated.
Peanut Butter and Jellies work for me!
Do you always keep peanut butter stocked in your pantry?
(Above photos: My darling great-nephews!)
Hi Sandy!
I eat peanut butter every morning on my whole wheat toaster waffle (with a banana sliced on it). My favorite breakfast. :-)
Your nephews are ADORABLE!
Have a good weekend…

Isn’t always the simplest things that make us the happiest. Gotta love P B & J’s or in my house Salami Sammies :) By the way those two boys are adorable.

Oh yes… my husband is a huge fan of peanut butter, but I may well be the only woman in America who had a child who wouldn’t touch a PB&J sandwich. Still won’t, at 23.

Love these photos! OH MY GOSH, are they not the cutest, most adorable little guys? You are one lucky lady!
Always! and I still eat it on celery. :)
Those boys are adorable!
Absolutely-in fact it is deemed a complete disaster and emergency if we should happen to run out! Trader Joe’s low sugar jam is our favorite and worth the trip into town to stock up on more! Your nephews are super cute, makes me miss mine!

Voila!
Oh yes, we always have peanut butter in our fridge-we use the natural kind. My 6 year old son takes a pb&j for lunch every single day. He often eats it for breakfast too!
We always have PB & J…homemade strawberry freezer jam always on hand, as well as some Almond Butter, Adams Crunchy (hubby’s fave), and some reg. creamy as well…yummy!!!
Live just wouldn’t have much meaning without peanut butter ;0)

I wish PB&J would fix all problems! So simple.
Would you believe I have 2 kids that don’t like PB&J? Crazy, aren’t they? What kind of kids don’t like pb&J?

Oh my, such a sweet post!
OH! The days of peanut butter and jelly entertaining! How precious is this! What a great day it looks like they had.
Kristin
You have such accommodating nephews! Children in my house were prone to demanding different jam (basically, whatever flavor I did NOT have) needing crusts cut off, and sliced diagonally (No the OTHER way!)
I like your nephews. I’d make them PB&J’s any day!

I always have peanut butter, but lately it’s been homemade. Yum! And I, too, scarf it from the jar with a spoon. Best snack EVER! :D

For whatever reason, the 18 oz jars are cheaper than the 48 oz jars at our local commissary. (Not a unique situation … pretty sure there folks with the price guns get into the cooking sherry before they start working.) So, at any given moment, I’ll have a dozen little bitty jars of PB in my pantry. Guests always think I have some sort of problem, but I’m just cost-conscious! (Which can be a problem in and of itself.)

Yep, it is ALWAYS in my pantry! Great photos of some super cute boys!
Always! And several jars of it at that! Your nephews are super cute.

Absolutely! And, if anyone ever wants to bless a missionary in a non-western nation, give them a jar of peanut butter! :)

PB&J are a daily thing around here–on whole wheat. I am prone to eating it out of the jar on a spoon, too, but tend not to worry about that too much. My son LOVES his foldover sandwiches, and there are several meals that I cook where he just goes straight for the PB jar.
We generally don’t run out! lol.
Oh it’s either Peanut Butter or Almond Butter. Definite must haves in this household!!
I went to Costco a few months ago and because it’s over an hour a way I stock up on some things and as I was checking out the guy looked at my 8 jars of Almond Butter and says, ” Do you know something I don’t know!” LOL!

Actually I’m afraid to keep peanut butter in my pantry. I’m prone to eating it with a spoon straight from the jar. Your little nephews are darling.
