HomeGoods Shopping Spree in Atlanta and $100 GIVEAWAY!

A few weeks ago, while attending the BlogHer Food conference in Atlanta, GA, I was asked to be a part of a shopping spree with HomeGoods. Of course I said, Yes! And today on RE, YOU have a chance to win a $100 GIFT CARD to HomeGoods!

I think back to many years ago when my parents won a car filled with groceries. No joke – at the peek of a bad economy, my parents were so blessed to win the car plus the groceries. And to keep the love going, they shared boxes of canned goods with other families who were in need.

That story reminds me of this shopping spree, because I was able to share and to bring some friends along, thanks to BlogHer. Even though this spree was quite different than my parent’s win 40 years ago, I must say it was really fun.

First off, the staff at BlogHer were fantastic! They were there at the store greeting me and my friends with gift cards for all.

My other very good blogging friend, Rhoda, from Southern Hospitality, was also there with a group of her friends. The store was closed so we had a private shopping time. Yipee! And we got a little silly at times, but heck, having to get up so early and get there by 8 was a stretch for us all. :) (That’s Amy from She Wears Many Hats and Shari from Tickled Red.)

Have you ever been to a HomeGoods store? I think most peeps have, but if not, today might be your lucky day because Home Goods is giving away a $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE.

That’s right – you can enter to win here at RE today!

Loved all the white dishes. And of course I looked for the largest platter I could find for all of my entertaining. I noticed my friends were buying white dishes, too. WHITE is CLASSIC!

My friends were all good sports and beautiful models … (that’s Carrie from La Pomme De Portland)

Amy from She Wears Many Hats.

Lori from Recipe Girl.

Robyn from Adda Pinch.

I love their lamp section.

Kid section.

Outdoor selection.

Glass pieces.

And of course the tablecloth inventory, which I’ll be posting about later when I show you the beauty that I have coming my way.

And then it was time to head back to the conference so we piled it all back in the car and headed to Fed Ex where BlogHer shipped it home for us.

Now for the $100 HomeGoods GIVEAWAY

Yea! Home Goods!! I just love that store. With $100 gift card I would head to the rug section first. I’m in desperate need of a new rug in my living room. The $100 would help me purchase one sooner!

Love Home Goodies. Got an exquisite shower curtain there for pennies on the dollar. Also got darling Blue Willow dishes — modernized. If I won I would head to the furniture or lamp area of the store.

  286. What a fun day with girlfriends! HomeGoods is one of my absolute favorite stores. If I win, I will head straight to the furniture (by way of weaving my way slowly through aisle after aisle of beautiful dishes). Thanks for the opportunity!

Love Home Goods!!!! Its so hard to decide how I would use $100, I think it would be fun just to go and see what strikes me, especially since they are constantly changing the stock.

Wow…it IS so hard to choose a section in such a great store: however, I would probably start scouring the “home accessories/decorative vases, etc.” section…I’m sure that’s not the technical name…heehee. Anyway, we have several empty shelves, as well as, empty walls in our new-ish home. :)

Thank you for offering such a wonderful giveaway!

  298. Oh my goodness! We just got a homegoods store in our area and I checked it out recently! I was so impressed with their huge selection and low prices. I would love to get a great big clock for my foyer! Thanks for the chance to win!

To answer your question, I would probably head to the throw pillows first, though!
