Back Patio Picnic and a Toast to the Great Outdoors GIVEAWAY

Tis the seasons for picnics, BBQs, outdoor concerts, and outdoor entertaining!

So in celebration, welcome to a very fun giveaway on RE today!

Michelob ULTRA is introducing a refreshing new drink–Michelob ULTRA Light Cider–a naturally sweetened, gluten-free cider, with one-third fewer calories than other ciders (it’s sweet, without being too sweet).

It’s a great, portable alternative to wine, perfect for the picnic basket or cooler!

I also love the outdoor idea of hosting friends while camping (this is actually a really fun thing to do–invite your friends to visit your campsite for a picnic).

Whatever type of picnic you choose, today I’m giving away this very cool outdoor picnic kit to help turn your outdoor gathering into an ULTRA experience.

The kit includes Light Cider samples, snacks, and an array of items from the Crate & Barrel® seasonal collection, including a Table In A Bag, picnic blanket, napkins and an insulated tote.

Part of this awesome giveaway is a very different kind of table from Crate & Barrel, one that folds up in a bag. How brilliant is that?

It comes in its own case, so you can take it with you for entertaining.

I found a space in our back patio area that was perfect for this table to reside in all the time.

I added this very neat vinyl tablecloth.

And all the goodies in the bag. I added a little fruit, ice, apple … and I was set for a picnic on my back patio.

It’s nice to offer different picnic snacks, and also a variety of drinks. The Michelob ULTRA Light Cider, which is very refreshing and summery, has a “crisp apples” taste, with fewer calories than leading hard ciders.

ONE LUCKY WINNER will hopefully find this cool picnic basket to be the perfect addition to your fun outdoor entertaining opportunities this summer (or Father’s Day?)

WHAT TO WIN:

· $20 gift card to purchase Light Cider samples
· 2 acrylic glasses
· 1 Crate & Barrel Table In A Bag
· 2 napkins
· 1 insulated picnic bag
· 1 picnic blanket
· 1 cutting board
· 1 summer sausage
· 1 box of crackers

ANSWER to WIN:

Have you packed up your car or had a backyard picnic yet this summer? What simple foods will you take to keep it “easy?”

  213. My three children and I have just started our summer! My four-year old’s dearest wish is to have a picnic “in the forest”, by which she means the thin scrim of woods that lies behind our house! We like to go to Winterthur, a beautiful place in Delaware, and have many picnics there.

My children like very simple food on our picnics — cheese sticks, turkey roll-ups, crackers, pea pods, mini cucumbers, or pear tomatoes from the garden, baguettes with butter, dried fruit salads, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and cold lemonade. We could take that wonderful little table with us and eat under the amazing trees.

  214. Haven’t gone on one yet but I like to take sandwiches, potato salad, cheese and crackers and some iced tea.

We had one in April, but not recently. We usually just pack sandwhich fixings, chips, fruit and maybe some cookies. We usually keep extra mayo, mustard packets from fast food places that way we won’t need plastic utensils.
