LoveFeast Plush Pumpkin Hostess Set Giveaway

If you read my post yesterday, about the steps I use when setting a pretty Autumn table, today is the day that I get to reveal what really made the table spectacular.

Not over-the-top showy (never my style), but simple and festive for this beautiful season that is HERE!

October is here!

It’s definitely “comfort” season, which to me means warm, soft, snuggly, easy–comfortable!

And what inspired my table this year, which I plan to use again for a special dinner I’m hosting next week (stay tuned, it’s almost as exciting as this dinner party), and for Thanksgiving next month – is PUMPKINS.

Sweet, soft, velvety pumpkins.

I’m so happy to reveal these darling Velvet Plush Pumpkins to you today, and I’m giving away 2 sets to ONE WINNER (value $172).

I think 2 sets is the perfect amount of pumpkins for a beautiful Autumn or Thanksgiving table – for those who love to throw a party!

You can always purchase more, or the acorns or mushrooms, over at the LoveFeast Table site where Kristin and ChrisAnn offer different festive options in their shop.

For the giveaway today, these lovely ladies at LoveFeast have taken the 3″ Velvet Plush Pumpkins and put them in a set of 6. The pumpkins included in this set are 3″ Apricot, Carrot, Curry, Sage, Chocolate and Saffron. Each pumpkin is finished with a natural, organic stem.

Very natural looking!

Now the next part is easy.

All you have to do is answer a question to win, and spread the news of this giveaway for more chances!

HOW TO WIN:
What’s your inspiration for a beautiful table theme this Autumn season?
or
Will you be hosting an Autumn event where these pumpkins could be your theme? Share the details!

For safety reasons, I do not use social media. But I do share your website ideas and forward many emails to friends with all of your great ideas for entertaining ! I am waiting for ink to print out the pictures from this autumn table. I would love, love, love to win the pumpkins. My decorating theme for this season is to bring the outdoors in and plan to use potted mums, pumpkins, fall leaves that I dry out, and seasonally scented candles. The velvet pumpkins will last much longer than the real ones and are so beautiful !!! My Birthday is this month and I could use them for my Birthday table. My husband cooks but I do the baking and decorating for my Birthday. Also, I am having ankle surgery next week and knee replacement surgery in December so having the beautiful pumpkins to look at would cheer me up. I can put a few around the house to make “vignettes” of festivity. I love your ideas !!!

I think my heart stopped when I saw the velvety goodness on FB!
What fun these would be in the middle of the plates at an “Older Parent’s” dinner I’m planning to host early in Nov. It’s for 4-5 couples in our church that are older (40+) and have young children (under 4). It’s a little hard to connect with others since so many of our 40+ friends have much older children. We’ve gotten together once and I’d like to keep the momentum!

I won’t exactly be hosting the event, but I will be helping to decorate our Town Hall for our annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner, put on by the churches in our town. We could definitely use these pumpkins for our theme! It started over 10 years ago, when we noticed that tourists who came to our little mountain town found nothing open, so we began to offer a free turkey dinner and free Bibles. We have hosted people from all over the world!

we celebrate both Canadian and American thanksgivings, so with that season starting I pull out my serving bowls with leaves and acorns over them and key off that. It may not be fabulous all the time, but it makes me so happy. I also have 4 large pumpkins that I pile up on the floor for the season with a scarecrow bear, but I think I need to pull those to the table too.

I’m hosting a small fall dinner party. Am decorating with kale and fall seasonal flowers. I’m planning to key off the deep jewel tones and a variety of texture to evoke a rich feeling that will play off the food–a sauteed king salmon and filet mignon with a creamed tarragon/spinach/scallion side. The pumpkins would really play well into the table theme for my dinner party.

My daughter moved to Dallas last year so we are going to visit her for Thanksgiving and these would make an awesome hostess gift for her…

For my fall table, I like to bring the outdoors in with natural decor like acorns, pinecones, and colored leaves. The velvet pumpkins would go perfectly with my table decor!
