Saute Express Salmon

One thing I love about easy entertaining is that it usually involves a simple recipe. So today I’m sharing an easy baked salmon recipe.

Entertaining is sometimes messy–like your house may not be in perfect order, or your kids may be running around or misbehaving, or the weather may not be coordinating with your plans, or guests may cancel last minute.

I can think of very few perfect entertaining moments in my years of having guests into our home, perfect moments where everything went as planned. But simple recipes get us closer to the goal.

Saute Express Salmon

We’re a salmon family, so when I was introduced to a newer product, Sauté Express® Sauté Starter from Land O’Lakes, which is a butter and oil saute’ starter, I was thrilled. My first thought was “salmon!”

It comes in little cubes, and our favorite flavor is the LEMON PEPPER.

I call it my 1.2.3. Easy Baked Salmon recipe. :)

1. Place the salmon fillets on a parchment lined stone or pan.

2. Place one cube of Sauté Express® Sauté Starter from Land O’Lakes on top of each fillet. Lightly salt and pepper.

3. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork (but not overcooked).

I love easy entertaining like this. It’s the kind of recipe that you can memorize, so making the main dish essentially becomes effortless.

Then all you have to do is think about the side dish. For this entertaining moment I sautéed up some delicious spinach in olive oil, sea salt and pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Salmon with Saute' Express

Our friends who came for dinner eat really healthy. They loved the salmon and veggies, they brought the salad, and I popped bread in the oven.

We were SET.

Easy.

1.2.3.

What’s your go-to easy salmon recipe you serve to guests?

Land O’ Lakes provided me with free butter, but they did not pay for this post today. As always, I love their product, but all opinions are my own. (Who doesn’t love butter? wink-wink.) :)
