Friends, summer entertaining is all about ease. Setting the table, an easy, fresh menu (this Grilled Parsley Lime Asparagus Recipe), inviting your friends and family, and paper napkins, right?

The most important thing about making people feel welcome is having a hospitable spirit.

Inviting people in, welcoming them at the door with a drink, or bringing them into a beautiful set area that says: We’re all about you, come on in and celebrate life, community, and a good meal with us!

Paper napkins are my favorite for setting the table in the summertime. Especially when they have vibrants colors, like orange, which make the table pop!

Orange is vibrant and screams “summertime!” (While Pandora is playing in the background, and everyone feels relaxed.)

Q Squared Diamond Round

Q Squared is the perfect unbreakable dinnerware for summer barbecues and outdoor entertaining! You may remember my other new blue dishes, Royal Lapis.

Q Squared products are so functional for any kind of entertaining, but I think they are perfect for summer. The dishes are made of unbreakable melamine, an organic-based, nitrogen-rich compound used to manufacture Q Squared’s products. It’s also different than other melamine tableware because it’s stronger and more durable.

Each piece is made with 100% natural dyes, and hand-polished for a smooth, high-gloss finish, giving the dishes a porcelain look.

NOTE: Microwave use should be avoided. Q Squared melamine is restaurant-grade, meaning it can be run through the dishwasher and show no signs of wear — it’s kid-friendly and perfect for everyday use.
