This White Chocolate Pistachio Cookie Bars Recipe is a salty, sweet dessert, delicious for a St. Patrick’s Day party or gathering!
Hey, Friends. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! By the time you read this, you probably will already have plans for a fun celebration, even if you’re not Irish. Or, you have something great planned for the weekend.
If nothing planned, you must tried these White Chocolate Pistachio Cookie Bars Recipe anyway! It makes quite a few, so you can always eat one, and freeze the rest!
You can leave the pistachios whole (I did, YUM), or you can chop them!
I mean, who doesn’t love white chocolate and pistachios! (Part of my instagram story above!)
If you’re hosting this weekend, make sure and spark up some good conversation! Even if you are an introvert, you can extend yourself (push yourself, challenge yourself, come up with a few questions to ask the group) to get to know the people around your table more!
We started good conversation in our home when our kids were young. When their friends came for dinner, we made sure to include them in the conversation. (Our kids, 12 years ago, when Haggis was a pup!)
Today I’m sharing a tip we’ve learned, that focuses on friendships.
Honesty is everything around friendships and sharing meals together.
Friendship is not one-sided. It involves two people who are both giving and focusing on the other.
Open communication, no matter the cost, is the only way to achieve this. Commend when it’s deserved and confront when it’s necessary. Build up, encourage, and leave the being critical or negative to another time, when others don’t have to sit and listen to you!
Many people find that they receive the most when they are intentional with other people (it’s about them, not about you).
I think we’re better off and happier people when we gather around food and really watch our words!
Happy Weekend, Friends, and St. Paddy’s Day!
