Just discovered your blog and Instagram! I'm in love! We bought the big board you have from Pier 1 and I just have one follow up question regarding seasoning it and making it food grade safe... we also purchased the butcher block oil you linked to above. Did you just sand and put that oil on, or did you follow all of the instructions on the oil bottle for how to apply? We aren't sure if all of those additional steps are necessary or not. Thank you!!

Hi Sandy I just love the Charcuteries on your webpage. I follow you on face book and decided to sign up now. I just gave my long time girlfriend your web page. She is having a baby shower and wants something nice but easy. When she saw it she loved it as well. I've done the taco one on cinco de mayo and the cheese plater one. Some many to try yet. I want to try the sausage tortalinni next. Keep up the great work.

You can say a light dinner, and serve a charctuerie board. Or, make one for a large group for appetizers. There really are no rules. Some people ask their guests to bring charcuterie items and they make it a potluck and they build the board together. You can also ask guests over for appetizers and wine (and serve a board). No hard rules :)
