There’s a time and a place for kids at the table with adults during a dinner party, especially during summer months!
But realistically, kids like to eat, and then  they like to run!
They don’t like to mingle around the table for hours, enjoying one another’s company, like we adults do.
Set the table for the adults.
And let the kids have their space.
Especially on a cool summer evening, when there is so much exploring to do for the kids, and so much connecting to do with the adults!
Now you go and enjoy a great dinner party with your family and friends! Â And if you do, make sure and tell me about it!
Do you combine the kids with adults, or do you let them sit together?

Welcome to my home and table! I'm Sandy—lover of food, family, cooking, THE BIG BOARD, travel, and bringing people together. Feasting on Life begins the moment we open our door (and hearts) to hospitality, wherever we are. Through great recipes and connection around the table, we become better, stronger, and more courageous people. Feasting on Life is real, and every time we do it, we grow a little more.
