It makes you think. I do try to host in more creative ways that fit our lifestyle…that might mean a lot of spontaneous hospitality really. We tend to have neighbors over for snacks and drinks in the yard while the kids play…or invite friends to watch a game on tv (we haven’t done this in too long). Lately it’s been on my heart to have Friday night pizza get togethers with friends who have kids the same ages as us…pizza is easy and we can serve some apps, salad and wine for the grownups. :)
