Hi Sandy. I would like to make this recipe. As I was making out my grocery list, I notice that you have in the list of ingredients “corn tortillas” and in step 5 you indicate flour tortillas. Which one is correct? Thanks!

Oh my! This is us this year, too. We spent 25 years in Florida raising our daughter, who will be a senior in college this year. My husband and I decided we were ready for a change and moved to NC, where we both grew up. We don’t know anyone here, but we are enjoying redeciscovering the area since so much has changed. We have found a church and are meeting new people. Fortunately, all of our good friends weren’t too mad with us for moving and have come to visit us. I love what you said about not having to live in the same town as your closest friends. We made sure to have comfy beds.
While in the process, an unforeseen change happened. Through it all I’ve learned to trust God even more and am thankful for the lesson. Thank you for sharing.

Isn’t if fun cooking with others in mind? So many times I’ve heard “well, they can just eat what I have”…I LOVE finding out what people enjoy, or what they don’t eat or can’t eat and finding something that will make everyone happy.

Love that quote too. So good. It is so easy to get “stuck” and not even realize it. I know there are a few areas that I am “stuck” in that need some intentionality.

We were almost coming to SR the beginning of September for a few days, but it didn’t work out. :(

I downsized 16 years ago after going through a divorce and moving to a smaller home that I could afford on my own. Then 3 years ago I downsized again after buying a small home with my 2nd husband (less than 1,000 sq. ft.) and started reading about living with less and giving more. I’ll have to say that this is a personal decision, but God laid it on my heart to be debt free, live with less, give more and what a freeing experience this has been for me. I would suggest to anyone to put their priorities in order and place their trust and their needs in God’s hands. It’s just an awesome place to live!
