I chuckled at the missing shoe. Our youngest went with some friends to Cape Kiwanda last week and as they were standing on rocks, barefoot, she reached out to point at something and one of her birkenstocks fell off her finger, bounced off the rock and into the ocean. She said all they could do was stare…lol. They couldn’t reach it. so she pretty much went the rest of the day shoeless and hit the birkenstock store the next day. lol
