Looks d-lish. I used to make a chex mix almost like

Good Morning Sandy! I, like you, grew up with the traditional salty Chex mix. I still make that version, but I’m definitely going to try your sweet version. My husband and I are driving up to Wisconsin to spend Christmas with our family. We live in southern Texas now so it is quite a drive. I think your Caramel Nut Chex Mix would be a great snack for the long drive:-)

We love Sunriver. Way back when, my husband’s job would take him there for a long weekend every spring. We would have so much fun. When we decided we wanted property we would have easily moved to Bend but it would have meant that my husband would have more nights away from home so we decided against it. Instead God provided us with a wonderful little farm an hour south of Portland. We still go there when we can but with animals to take care of now it is going to be pretty rare.

YUM! I haven’t done chex mix too often…I always make carmel corn, but a few years ago I did do a spin on it by using chex cereal….come to think of it I don’t think I ever posted the recipe…maybe I’ll have to pull it out and make it this year :) thanks for the reminder
