I love this idea! I did something for my sister and myself with my mom’s handwriting with “love you, Ma”. I found someone on ETSY called “tag you’re it” that engraved my mom’s signature on a silver disk. I have a square and my sister has a circle. My friend whose mom was still living with Alzheimer’s Disease bought them for herself and her sisters for Christmas. The following May their mom passed and all three sisters had them on for the funeral. It was so touching.

What a great recipe and what a great post talking about your mom. she must be very proud of you when she was around. My mom did the same we are 3 sisters and love one another

Yum. I love chocolate covered strawberries. I have a “baby shower” board on pinterest and think I’m going to make some for the baby shower, but use white chocolate colored light blue.

I, too, prefer using a double boiler for any melted chocolate. {And if using chocolate chips, don’t forget to add the shortening!} I’ve seen them rolled in chocolate shavings or with a contrasting color of chocolate drizzled over them. The berries look fantastic- we’ve been buying them weekly and eating them daily!!

Sisters are the best! I have one – she’s my best friend! – and my mom has two. It’s so fun when we all get together – we all leave with sore abs from laughing!
