Citrus Honey Vinaigrette + Vibrant Blue SaladSavors® Giveaway
Today I’m excited to share my Citrus Honey Vinaigrette salad dressing recipe, and a vibrant blue giveaway, sponsored by DeLallo SaladSavors®.
When our good friends popped down from Portland for a quick 24-hour stay with us (and no kids, which we had mixed feelings about – we love their kids!), my friend Steph and I got busy in the kitchen.
We were grilling chicken, making appetizers, and when I showed her the very cool, quick and easy (and so yummy) vibrant SaladSavors® combinations from DeLallo, we decided that is what we’d eat for lunch.
— We whipped up a delicious light and citrus-tasting vinaigrette dressing. So summery-fresh.
— You start with fresh greens. Your own greens, or favorite varieties in a bag. Your choice.
— Open the beautiful package (get a whiff of that amazing crumbly blue cheese). Be still my heart!
— Sprinkle the sweet and tangy toppings onto the greens. (Crumbly blue cheese, tart dried cherries, and crunchy pecans). So vibrant!
SaladSavors®
Unlike other salad kits you can buy in grocery stores, the SaladSavors® line gives you the freedom to create your own salads. You get to choose your own lettuce and then whip up your own dressing. I personally love mixing and matching, making new flavors, unlike the salad kits where you already know what the flavor will be (and it’s hard to venture beyond that).
Make the dressing.
So, the next thing we did was make a homemade dressing. A homemade vinaigrette is so worth the extra few minutes it takes to make, rather than reaching for a bottled jar of dressing, which is rarely as good for you.
Enjoy with a friend.
I love how these amazing Vibrant SaladSavors® sure make entertaining easier. Especially with quality ingredients, you get the right flavors grouped together for the perfect salad.
We enjoyed it for lunch.
In the sunshine.
And food always tastes better when shared with a friend.
Vibrant giveaway.

Sharp Asiago — but I am game for all of them. Delish!
Looks really tastey. Will be trying soon
This looks terrific! Making the vinaigrette for supper tonight. Thanks for the chance to win as well.
zesty feta! I love feta!
The Sharp (Asiago cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, marinated artichokes) sounds fantastic!
Sharp Asiago sounds amazing. It would pair well with your vinaigrette. The blog bowl is beautiful.
The vinaigrette sounds amazing!!
I would love to try the Zesty Feta. Greek salads are my favorite:-)
The salad looks fantastic and I totally want to try their goat cheese mix!
The Zesty Saladsavor would be my first pick but they all sound pretty amazing.
Oh, Sandy, I’m so excited about this because I’ve become accustomed to buying my salad in a bag because of the convenience but this way, I could totally customize my salad. Oh YUM!
Thank you for the tip!

Fresh goat cheese…. fun giveaway.
We are eating lots of salads lately this will help….change it up a bit.
Thanks for sharing
The Zesty Saladsavor would be my first pick.
Sharp Asiago would be the first I tried, and know I would like all of them
All of them! If I had to pick only one, I think the goat cheese..no…the asiago with sundried tomatoes and artichoke!!
the blue cheese dried cherries and pecans sounds AMAZING and heavenly for a salad. Would love to try that one.
The zesty feta sounds awesome!
Sharp Asiago sounds amazing! Love this idea. I’m constantly buying separate salad toppings for my work lunch and assembling day of. This makes so much more sense!
