I'm having house guests this weekend, so bought 3 small pots of ranunculus in different, complimentary colors, a pot of alyssum for the wonderful sweet smell, and a couple of six packs of pansies, because they're my favorite and make me smile. They were all less than $13. They're all in pots on the front porch, and when I can be more sure of the weather, they can go into the ground. (The ranunculus are not hardy, though the others are. Pansies can emerge from snow and keep on smiling!) I plan to cut some daffodils and/or narcissus from the yard to go in their room. I love Spring!

What a beautiful idea! The only flowers in my life right now are a few crocuses (outside) and an african violet (inside). But there are green shoots coming up in the garden, promising daffodils and bluebells in a few more weeks. :)

So cheerful! I wish I had a fun spot to hang fresh flowers at my front door. You have definitely inspired me to pick up a few bunches of daffodils to fill the house though. Happy Friday sweets. xoxo
