On my recent trip to Napa Valley with Bush’s Beans, we stayed right down the street from The French Laundry Restaurant.

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with this restaurant, but maybe you’ve seen their cookbook?

The French Laundry is one of the country’s most esteemed restaurants. Its name stems from the fact the restaurant building once housed a French steam laundry during the 19th century. And it is … spendy (thus, we did not eat there, and also the fact that it takes months to get a reservation!)

I love this photo taken at dusk. The garden is right across the street from the restaurant.

Look at this huge greenhouse in all its beauty!

It was dreamy!

Everything was so orderly.

And smelled good, too!

The next day as we walked into Yountville for lunch, we strolled through the garden again, and were very inspired to get home, to get our garden in the ground! (Here’s the beautiful lettuce from our garden, last year.)

Are you thinking ahead to planting a garden this year? Or even a few pots of veggies?
