Louisville is a fun place-but so is the rest of Kentucky, y’all will have to come back to explore :-) You were very fortunate to be able to stay in the Brown Hotel…you ought to see it at Christmas! I hope that you did try the Hot Brown and find Chess Pie……of course, Derby Pie is better (if you can find it right now!) I live about 40 minutes southeast of Lexington..we’re neighbors, Jennifer!

So glad you liked Kentucky! Louisville is just up the road from Lexington where I live. Did you try a Hot Brown while you were at the Brown Hotel? I went to Transylvania University with Chef Joe Castro. It’s fun to see how he has risen in the food world.

I lived in KY for a while and although I tasted a lot of bourbon I never went to a soy sauce tasting. I do know that there is a difference in taste even in the grocery store brands. Hands down I’d go with the gas stove. Love it!
