So interesting! I love rice so I’m sure I would like this. Having people over is never easy but I love how every post I read you just encourage me (and others) more and more and remind of all the wonderful reasons why we should do it!

My husband loves for me to make a crockpot chuck roast with carrots and onions and instead of new potatoes (which is how I’ve always made it), he loves for me to make white rice on the side so he can pour the roast and juices from it over the rice. This is how his mother used to make it when he was growing up. I still prefer the new potatoes, but most of the time, I leave them out and make him rice!
