I have even gone as far as to consider not hosting at all over Halloween until Christmas. I loathe after party cleaning (and this is coming from someone who sells professional cleaning products for a living!). I don’t mind doing the odd glass wash or a quick vacuum after entertaining, but after throwing a big bash it can sometimes take me a full day to get the house looking normal again. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for some helpful albeit common sense tips that have given me the confidence to consider hosting again this year!

Those are such a good tips, as it is a typical issue for the housewives, as beside all the holidays and it's fun, in the end, there a a lot of dirty dishes waiting to be cleaned and that is just so amazing if you have easier way to clean them and do it properly with this site.

This is such a brilliant dish and glass cleaning idea from Scotch Brite! I am really impressed and I definitely need to get one! I love to have guests and to throw parties at home with friends and family. The problem is the after party cleaning! It is just so overwhelming. Once I hosted a New Year’s party and then was the most horrible cleaning that I ever had to do! Thank you for the great tips! :)

Great post. I try and clean as I cook…I don’t always clean up throughout the eating process, usually I just wait until everyone leaves. I don’t mind and I’d rather sit and visit. Sometimes my family will jump in and do some clean up but I don’t worry about it too much.

great tips Sandy!! My husband is great about helping after we entertain, and call me weird, but clean up doesn’t bother me lol

I love the Scotch-Brite Clean Curve Dishwand……it helps me keep my hands out of the water a little more.
