I usually buy a bag of “Superfood” salad. It has all the ingredients above + cranberries and poppy seed dressing. It is fantastic! Making your own is a good idea too, but does involve meal planning so your prepared salads dont go bad!

I make salads fresh each time, but keeping the greens fresh is always a problem. Always experimenting with different ingredients, and found the combo of cabbage & romaine is super tasty! This is a great idea and I love the addition of brussel sprouts! Definitely doing this, thanks for the fresh tip, Sandy~

Sandy I wanted to share my Mom’s tip for storing lettuce and greens that I have been using for years and years. Place a paper towl in with your bag of greens. The paper towel absorbs any moisture, keeping your greens fresher longer! It really works. I use it with celery and chives too! Have a great day! Lisa
