We did these in a dog bone mold of 10. They were not as flat as your cookies – probably twice as thick. They were a little soft after baking. Is that ok? Do they have to be crunchy to be the appropriate doneness? Thank you!

can you use sourdough discard with this recipe instead of the oil or maybe in addition to the oil?

Ok so I’ll start out by saying, I actually started making a completely different recipe to begin with right .. and it was nothing like I had wanted it to be. So I then found myself looking recipes up again when I found yours!
The measurements were nothing like what I had already done but i made it work and they turned out GREAT!

my first time making this. im not sure of the grams for apple and carrot or i might have added too much water ? dough is very soft im not sure how to take it up to roll. I added more flour and oats after that,but still soft. how much is good. help please ?

my 11 year old Bischon and my 15year old Shit tzu and my 5 year old Shitz loves these I freeze them and they eat them right out of the freezer.
my 15 year old shitz actually walks to the frig and barks when he wants a treat..

In reply to Vanessa. Make sure regular flour can be a part of your dogs diet before substituting. We have never used the dog-treat maker for this recipe. We've only baked them.

My dog likes them. Easy recipe to make. I tasted a few and whilst very bland for humans they are good for dogs. Not really keen on the amount of flour in them but makes a nice change from making treats with peanut butter and banana in them. The yield was good as there was 3 packed trays worth of mini bones and paws.
