I’ve been cutting the stem off in a way that makes the strawberries heart-shaped. The kids love it, and it’s fun for showers and weddings, but it takes awhile. The egg-slicer trick looks great and is something the kids can do on their own – bonus! Maybe to garnish the microwave omelettes they’ve been making? :)

Even though my strawberries were pretty soft :( So for all trying this, be careful. I hope your egg slicers are stronger than mine! :)
