We are huge fans of entertaining and love your site. One of my favorite girlfriend get togethers is to host a Tips Party! I provided dinner, drinks and notebooks from the dollar store .. everyone shared tips on different topics such as their favorite local non-chain restaurant, local boutique, favorite mascara, favorite florist, etc. It’s a lot of fun and you walk away with a wealth of information.

Although you don’t have to stick to “local tips”, but you can make that your theme if you have a new neighbor or friend in town. It’s a great way for them to learn the area and meet new people.
