The otherwise very comfy idea of opening up and reaching out is a little bittersweet to me right now, because our local book club, together for almost 5 years now, is experiencing a painful evolution. I am not sure what the future holds for us, and the old comforts of friendship and hospitality between us, well, all of it is changing.
