I’m wondering if you have a recipe for a pound cake recipe I can use instead of a store bought box pound cake mix. I can’t find any at various stores I’ve been to. From my research, it seems only flour and sugar come in the box. Any suggestions on the proportion of each of these to make the 16oz?

This looks really tasty! And I really like the simplicity of using tin cans as vases for centerpieces. I’ve never made flan for cinco de mayo I usually can’t help but give in and make tres leches cake, I thought about making flan this year, but after seeing this cake, I am tempted to make this instead. : )

I’ve never made any kind of flan but this looks so delicious it makes me want to give it a try! It also looks like a yummy way to use a lot of eggs which is great because our chickens are laying more than we can keep up with.
