I’m visiting from the inspired room and I must say your garden is remarkable. I also noticed your cairn terrier and cat. in fact i did a double take because they look just like our cat and former dog (she lived until she was 15yrs old) !!! Our cat, zoegirl is 14 yrs. old and despite a slight loss of hearing is still a great mouser.

When my children were all home we had a big garden that they did most of the work in. Growing your own food is a great lesson for kids. Now that we have an almost empty nest I’ve moved to raised beds and planting in containers. So much easier. This year a friend gave me some heirloom tomato transplants call German Pink. I’ve never grown heirloom tomatoes before so I’m really excited about that. Good luck with your harvest!
