Yeah I have a perfection problem with company..I’m still learning to go with the flow. I think mistakes are good for me though, it keeps me on my toes! Love the root beer, I want to try it in my beans soon!

I’m pretty laid back so I don’t have much of a problem relaxing. But if someone else seems to be a little frazzled than I tend to second guess myself (ie…hubby who tends to be more of a perfectionist than me). I’d leave everything sitting out so I could sit and visit, he’d rather put things away and clean the kitchen first..lol

I loved entertaining years ago, but now with teenage boys
and two big golden retrievers, my house always seems to be a mess. I have a hard time letting go of my perfectionism and now I am reluctant to have friends over, and when I do have them over, I do apologize throughout the evening. My husband gets upset with me and that makes matters even worse!

This recipe reminds me – much- of Calico Beans… all but the root beer. I’ll have to try to remember to add that ingredient next time, I make these beans. Love beans!!. :) – And, it’s always fun to try new things, too.
