Brought this on a picnic and it was quite a hit! I brought everything separately and assembled once serving. I offered both regular and hot honey (i.e., spicy) and let people choose their own. The hot honey won! I used a mixture of fresh herbs from my garden, which offered a tasty/pretty topping to the watermelon! I also brought my salt grinder so that everyone could easily salt their own. All in all, this could not have been an easier (or more popular!) picnic choice! Thanks for a great idea! I plan to also serve it at an upcoming happy hour with friends! The taste of summer!!
