Last summer at a wedding, water was the main beverage served and they used fresh fruit for one and fresh mint for another one. I loved the mint water! So refreshing, elegant, and economical (not to mention better for you!). Each one can be different to match whatever you are serving.

I always have Pellegrino on the table and then I do regular water with lime and mint…love it that way!

We also offer water at every meal. I fill the water glasses about an hour before the guest arrive, and then have 2 pitchers fillled with chilled water for refills. I always have a pitcher of iced tea also, and a couple of bottles of wine for those who want to enjoy a glass. We can never be too organized when we entertain, having the drinks all ready and in pitchers just makes it easier for the host and hostess!!!

I’m going to use this tip tonight. We’re have a very casual March Madness basketball get-together (Go Jayhawks!) and I’m going to be sure to set out a pitcher of water with lemons. Thanks for the suggestion.

I enjoy the whole look of a cold pitcher sitting at a table. Usually I keep one filled along side the other beverage choices. Recently, I discovered cucumber slices added in water quite tasty. Love the citrus touches, too.

I think this is brilliant! So many people appreciate having a healthier refreshment, too. Another option is using the fluted jugs, I guess they’re only about a half gallon size? Enough for 2 people. Sandy, why does no ice taste better? It really does. LOL
