Yum! There is nothing better than homemade sloppy joes. For years it was the requested birthday dinner for our youngest. I haven’t made them in awhile..might need to pull it out again.

Over the last 4 years we have had changes that we had not imagined and it involved my hubby having to find a new job after 20+ years doing the same thing and the thing he loved. We were thankful for a job opening quickly and he has done well with it, but we are now making a decision for him to make a change within the same company that will be better for him mentally, emotionally and physically (stress affects health big time). It also means a pay drop, but we have decided we will do what is needed to make that work so that he can find peace within his job. I’m thankful for smart financial moves and the ability to live with less..it won’t be easy, but it’s not worth more in the way of things, at the sacrifice of other things.
