Sandy, once again you’ve brought fresh and encouraging ideas for all of us gals who entertain. Thank you so much. I wanted to share an idea I figured out for serving hot food. We were hosting a Mardi Gras Cajun dinner and I discovered that if I put the rimmed soup bowls in my dishwasher long before the guests arrived just on the rinse cycle they were piping hot to serve the shrimp creole. Right out of the dishwasher and ladel the creole in with a mound of rice on top. Food hot down to the last spoonful. It helps when it’s a cold night here in VA.
