I just decided I am making this tonight for dessert. Tuesdays, our son, Daniel, and daughter-in-law, Melissa, and our 5+ yr. old grandson, Myles, come to dinner. Look forward to it each week! Making one of ReluctantEntertainer stews for dinner. Yummy! Sandy, I agree with your “BEING PRESENT IN THE MOMENT IS A GIFT” and all that followed. People appreciate being treated with respect and kindness and some pleasant conversation focused on them.

Is there a substitute for mascarpone cheese? I live in a very small town, and getting mascarpone can only be accomplished by an hour+ trip. Can cream cheese be thinned out with milk, or would ricotta work? Any suggestions appreciated. These look delicious!
