That is one pretty dish! Strawberries & Rhubarb sounds like such a tasty flavor combo. I have to try to find some coconut sugar up here in the North Country. What else do you use it for?

I only worry about my house when I know the people coming over are going to “nit-pick” everything. We have some friends and relatives for that matter that stick their noses up at a “not so tidy” home and will gossip like their life depends on it. I also know who loves us enough that a little mess doesn’t matter. Love the compote and the bouquet!

What a beautiful dish here, love some strawberries for a treat, and with the smell of rhubarb added in takes it to the next level!

I’m totally a person who stresses out about cleaning when guests come over, although with age I’ve come to realize the majority of people don’t even notice and just want a good conversation, the table that it’s done at doesn’t need to be cleared.
