I have quite a few different bulbs to plant, some in pots and I was thinking possibly some in the grass underneath my monkey puzzle tree. Only problem being, is it too late in January in Britain? Also will my Dahlias come back up as I didn’t get round to digging them up last year.

We planted our daffodils here in NJ in February (!) and March!!! They have all come up- it’s early April now. The March ones are an inch shorter at this point but we just got a bloom from out February- planed batch of Dutch Golds amd it’s beautiful and huge!! A happy surprise. Our verdict- plant ‘em!! They may be late but will still show up!

Oh,nooooo,I just came across to a bag of “early tulips ” I forgot about, no is almost April, and this bulbs are already sprouted, what should I do? I live in north cal,and the weather still cold with some rain…please help!!

I planted daffodils in late January. They were planted close to the surface and fortunately are about to bloom -but the stems are stunted.

I live in Canada. Very cold. I found these bulbs in a store for half prize and deceided to force them tulps hyachthyns and daffadiles. I took them from my fridge few weeks to soon. Can I put them back in cold storage after having them out for about a week? Thank You.

I did not get to plant my bulbs as planned due to my illness, it is now almost the middle of June and I’m wondering if I could still plant bulbs, would I be wasting my time and wait till fall or shall I go for it

Excellent tips. The most important thing that must kept in mind is that you should never plant the bulb deep in side the soil where i can’t get enough sunlight and water. Thank you for sharing this.
