This soup is delicious. We received the recipe from our daughter. I am a 82 year old male and it looked so good I had to try making it. The two photos seem to show Black Beans which would make an interesting addition but they are not listed in the ingredients. BUT one can of diced tomatoes are in the ingredient list but don’t appear any where in the directions. I added them along with the Marinara Sauce, Broth and Water and it came out great. Looking forward to trying other recipes from this site

As usual you offer food for the body as well as for the soul. This ricotta-topped healthy soup looks amazing. And yes, hospitality is a condition of the heart first. I love your stories so much. We are facing the very real possibility of having to leave the farm because of Oklahoma turnpike construction, and this churns up everything in my heart. So many goodbyes to say! Very sad. But I also know that it’s special here in large part due to the openness we have cultivated with our people, and we can achieve that anywhere. Thank you for your loving examples. Have fun in Bend!!
