November gratitude

Here’s a fun gratitude practice for the month of November: write a list of the year’s highlights.

I was thinking about my list the other day, and even in a crummy year, there are some very sweet things. Some are personal that I wouldn’t share, but some are just good things to never forget, like a sweet dollop from Julia Cameron:

“Creativity lies not in the done, but in doing.”

I’m working on some sweet projects and I can’t wait to share them with you. My family has also been working on different goals, and great things are happening with my kids! I’m truly grateful!

And so in this season of celebration, as we warm up plenty of leftovers, here’s to celebrating finding the little nuggets of thankfulness for each family member: Achievements and growth that are truly a mother’s delight.

Dinner can be mundane

But back to the mundane. Dinner is daily .. and can be boring. This is where dinner boards can make things a little more fun. With smaller meals around the table for most of us, why not make them special?

Leftover Turkey Tetrazzini on a board is just that!
