Twice baked potatoes are a family favorite here too. Always a hit. Love the idea of using Gouda. Smoked Gouda would be great too. My oldest daughter & her husband moved into their first home a few months back. Shortly after she said “We claim Easter this year!” No one put up a fight. Ha! So I’m heading over there early tomorrow to help get things set up and enjoy seeing them in this new role. There will be 32 of us for a sit down dinner so it’s no small task! Happy Easter Sandy!

In reply to Sharon. Yes! So you're only using the flesh from 3 of the potatoes. Scoop the flesh from 3 potatoes into a medium bowl, leaving a 1/4-inch-thick shell. For the 4th potato, discard the flesh.

My Easter dinner will be improved with baby goats. Born at 1:30 last night. Everyone is looking forward to seeing them.

I LOVE twice baked potatoes. They will be a side dish with my ham. They are easy to make and you can have them done before people arrive and just warm them in the oven. I used to fry up a bunch of bacon and crumble it then store it in the freezer so I always had bacon for the potatoes. Lately I haven’t been using bacon. I’ll make them with bacon on Sunday.

I think its a great idea to have goals with hospitality!!! I know I have plenty of room for growth LOL!!! To have all ready 1/2 hour before guests arrive so you can breathe, pray ect. is a fabulous goal not silly at all!!! Happy Easter Sandy!!!!
