Hi, Jean! If I remember right, breakfast was included at the hotel the first 2 nights, but you are on your own for the other meals. HAVE FUN! One of my favorite trips, great memories!

So excited. We arrive in Zurich on the 18th and go to Basel on the 20th to embark on the Viking Herj.

I know that on the extensions, only breakfast is included, but what about the pre-boat experience? The 2 nights in Zurich. I know you guys happened upon Octoberfest – what a fun experience!), but what did they do about meals for the days you are at the hotel that is part of the “cruise?”.

Just curious. This will be our 2nd cruise. Fell in love after the first one!

I appreciate all of the tips you offered especially because we have never taken a cruise or even a tour bus trip.  We have always planned our own trips so this trip will be very different.   I’ll look forward to your other posts!  (I love your red plaid coat!)
