On the Big Board, set in the center a large heart-shaped dinner plate.
On a cutting board, slice the mozzarella cheese and, using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut 24 heart pieces.
Preheat oven to high (broil), and place the rolls cut in half on a cookie sheet. Rub the fresh garlic clove on each piece of bread, and drizzle with olive oil. Broil the rolls for 1-2 minutes until toasted. Remove from the oven.
Apply about 1 teaspoon of mayo or aioli to each piece of toasted bread. Add a basil leaf, tomato slice, and 2 hearts on each piece of bread.
Serve the sandwiches open-faced, and place on the plate. Right before serving, add a drizzle of balsamic glaze (optional).
Arrange cookies and treats in the center of the sandwiches!
