This dessert should be served within 24 hours to prevent the crust from softening.
Ingredients
For the crust:
¾cupbutter
½cuppowdered sugar
1 ½cupsflour
For the filling:
10ozpackage white chips
¼cupheavy cream
8oz.cream cheese, softened
Variety of fruits, sliced
For the glaze:
½cuppineapple juice
1Tbsp.lemon juice
⅓cupsugar
1Tbsp.cornstarch
Instructions
For the crust:
Mix the butter, powdered sugar, and flour well and press onto a cookie sheet or pizza pan.
Bake at 300° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
For the filling:
Melt the white chips into the heavy cream. Stir in the softened cream cheese and blend until smooth. Spread over the cooled crust.
Arrange a variety of sliced fruit, e.g. strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, nectarines, kiwi, star fruit etc. on the cream cheese, by layering in rows.
For the glaze:
Combine the pineapple juice, lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch. Whisk together well, and then cook until thickened over medium heat.
