Decadent and tasty Chocolate Covered Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Bites with a sprinkle of Sea salt are so easy to make, freeze, and serve.
Ingredients
2-3medium-ripe bananas, sliced
⅓cupcrunchy peanut butter, smooth works, too
12ozbittersweet dark chocolate, chopped
Sea salt
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the bananas into 1/4” rounds. Lay half the slices on the lined pan.
Using a spoon, top the banana slices with a dab of peanut butter. Place another slice on top. Freeze for a minimum of 2 hours.
Microwave the chocolate in a glass bowl on HIGH for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth.
Remove bites from the freezer and dip/roll (using 2 forks) them into melted chocolate. (Work quickly before the bites start to thaw and get mushy, or the chocolate starts to harden). You can choose to completely cover the banana, or dip partially. Arrange the bites back on baking sheet.
